GEGA OIL Powers Up: Expanding EV Charging Infrastructure Across Gas Stations
As the world embraces sustainable transportation solutions, Gega Oil, a prominent player in the hydrocarbons industry with a network of over 90 gas stations, is making significant strides to align with the changing times.
Recognizing the increasing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) and the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure, Gega Oil is stepping up its efforts to install EV charging stations at its gas stations, signaling a clear commitment to a greener future.
Gega Oil understands the pivotal role that electric vehicles play in reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner air quality. The company’s decision to incorporate EV charging stations into its gas station network exemplifies its dedication to supporting the transition from traditional internal combustion engines to electric mobility. Gega Oil has initiated the installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers at strategically important sites near the borders of Kosovo, Greece, Macedonia, and Montenegro. These locations are also strategically positioned along major national roads. Each of the designated stations provides a convenient rest area, complete with contemporary coffee shops, markets or restaurants.
The charging capacity will range from 22kw to 90kw, ensuring efficient and varied charging speeds for EV users. Our charging stations will be showcased and accessible for reservations on prominent applications like “ChargePoint,” “PlugShare,” “Chargemap,” and others.
By the conclusion of 2024, the company strives to complete the initiative of incorporating at least 10 EV Charging Points. Gega Oil stands as a trailblazer among hydrocarbons companies, initiating this endeavor to serve its clientele.
